Riffraff...So Amazing!

Riffraff - Fayetteville, Arkansas
What you'll find there: Home decor, boutique clothing, jewelry, gifts, and so much more!

I LOVE this amazing store! Like I said in my last post when I mentioned it, never have I ever once thought about visiting the state of Arkansas but after discovering this blog I catch myself trying to find some reason to make a trip there. But actually in all honesty I think I would probably go there just for this store! haha It's that awesome! I went back through the blog to find aaaallll of my favorites to share! Some of their products have even inspired some of my own projects...because you know, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!"

I love this dresser!

This would make a simple DIY gift, just need a little puffy paint and some dishes/coffee cup!

Fayetteville is a college town and they are very school spirited and full of tradition! I would love to see a store with product like this open up in Fresno to promote support for Fresno State!
That University of Arkansas subway art inspired my own version that I gave to my cousin Blake for graduation.

This was inspiration for a frame I made for my cousin Mia's 5th birthday!

Some friends & family might recognize these from Christmas! They seemed to be a hit and I loved them so much!

One of the things I absolutely love the most is that they are very vocal and supportive of buying local & supporting the community. They have great community spirit over there and the shopping center this store is in is always doing some sort of event, like an open house type of event that all the stores participate in or halloween trick or treating for the kids in the community! It just seems like a great store and a great atmosphere! I'd love to check it out in person some day!

p.s. I got to go to Hobby Lobby for the very first time! I looove it there!! Michaels, meets Joanns, meets Home Goods...in my opinion it's the best place on earth! I only wish it wasn't 45 mins away in Visalia but oh well I think it's definitely worth it! I'll have to share some of the super fun stuff I bought in my next post!

New Idea!

I've decided that my new blog goal is to post at least once a week and in order stay on task I will be posting my favorite and/or all of my weekly crafty, baking, or whatever findings on the internet!
Last fall I discovered Google Reader and I love it! It has made surfing the blog world so much more convenient and enjoyable! I thought it would help me to be more organized when it comes to where I find things and keeping better track of that sort of thing. In some ways it has helped but the farther back things go the harder it is to find it. So now for my newest idea... I will keep my photos filed in weekly folders and post where I find them. Voila! A nice new system for archiving aaaalllll of the amazing ideas that I find. So hopefully this will work. I can't make any promises but since I already check my Google Reader multiple times a day it shouldn't be too hard to get into the routine of sitting down and posting the pictures for the rest of the world (or who ever stops by my little blog) to see.

I'll kick things off with that so darn talented Bakerella! I do a lot of cookie pops and the thought never occurred to me to slip one of those really cute paper straws I keep seeing everywhere, over the regular, plain, boring lollipop stick for added fun, color and design! Brilliant! Love it!

A new, instant favorite of mine is a site called, Modern Moments. Really cute, inexpensive way to give candy. She also features one using M&M's too! So simple!

I sure have a lot of favorites and this is just another one to add to the list. After discovering this blog I caught myself thinking: "I would sooo visit Fayetteville, Arkansas just to be able to go to this store!" haha Yup you guessed it, Riffraff is located in Arkansas and I never ever in a million years have even once considered a trip there until after finding this blog. I couldn't tell you how I found this one, even if my life depended on it, but I'm so glad I did! It's my idea of the perfect store, crafty/artsy stuff mixed with trendy boutique clothes! Check out some of my favorite things from here, that I've found in the past in my next post. There were just too many to add to this entry!

Looove this Robot Candy Valentine I found on eighteen25! So cute and you don't need a lot of candy for a great presentation!

Super clever! I hope I have a reason to make a sailboat cake someday! I found this on Blonde Designs Blog.
