Pinterest

I've been MIA the past month (oh my I didn't realize it was THAT long!) due to wrapping up school and making time to take a cardio kickboxing class! (such a fun way to work out!) Anyways, I've also been neglecting my blog, I'm not gonna lie, because I've discovered something called Pinterest! It's absolutely amazing and I waste hours and hours just browsing. It's a new social networking site where you can post pictures, or pin them rather, onto boards you make. You can browse other people's pictures and repin them to your boards! It's the best thing that could have happened to me in terms of keeping all of the creative ideas I discover organized! I love it! The first week after I found this site was absolute torture because you have to be invited to join. You can either request one from the site or have someone who has already joined invite you. I went with the first option and it takes a while. So if anyone is interested let me know and I'll send you an invitation because this is just the most amazing thing ever, you just have to check it out!!! Oh and life just got even better because they just released the new iPhone App this week too!!!

So anways, I'm at the library right now procrastinating on my final papers and studying because I have senioritis and will be graduating a week from tomorrow! I also have a pretty busy baking schedule lined up until mid-June, I'm helping out with a couple of parties and planning my own graduation party. So I apologize if I'm gone for another month, but I'll try hard not to be!! But if you want to keep up with the creativity that I find you can always join Pinterest and find me on there to see what I've been pinning!! (p.s. you don't have to be invited just to look at stuff! you just have to be invited to do your own pinning!)

I will leave you with some pictures of what I worked on yesterday at work! It's a Fresno State Graduation Party Theme. It's so fun and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Oh and here is my graduation cap that I decorated!!

Blog 2 of 2...Baseball Themed!

If you know me, you know I loooove me some baseball season! And of course, with college ball well under way and The Bigs gearing up for opening day this coming week, this is my FAVORITE time of the year! By the end of February and early March I instinctively start craving sunflower seeds and sunny spring weather perfect for sitting in the stands at a baseball game! To be completely honest, the actual game part isn't at the top of my list of favorite things about baseball. What I love the most....the baseball players :) and just the atmosphere surrounding the game. I love the stats and interesting, sometimes random and strange stories that come from behind the scenes. (precisely why I love the championship SF Giants!)

Anyways, back to the matter at hand, it came as no surprise to me that I came across TONS of great baseball decor, party and even wedding ideas this week....it pretty much goes without saying, I was in heaven!!! Check it all out...

For when I marry a Major (Minor works too) League Baseball player some day! :) haha

Favors... "Hey Batter, Batter" Pancake Batter
I loooove this! So cute & creative!

Anything with Buster Posey on it works for me! :) Timmy too! But these are sooo cute! Makes me want to throw a Giant's Birthday Party!
Speaking of Buster Posey and Birthday Parties...It just so happens to be Buster's Birthday today!!! Happy Birthday Buster Posey! :)

Favorite thing I found all week...
Fear the Beard...Brian Wilson...I reaaaalllly want to have a Giant's themed party...can you tell? haha

Lots of fun stuff to share!

Last week was a sloow week...not a lot to report on the craft front. I literally bookmarked and saved like 6 pictures/ideas, and even those weren't anything too special! So I decided to skip my blog post last week and I was rewarded with a week chock full of ideas and great pictures to share! So much so, that I have a special second post coming right after this one too...

This is was really cute...I love the centerpiece and the boxed lunches!
The jeweled garland caught my eye at first because we have the exact same garland at work. Then I looked into the details of this DIY and (let me just say that little details are my weakness! haha) the garland is attached using clip-on earring backs that you can get for making jewelry! I love that!

These are sooooooo cute! And the whole party is pretty cute too, check it all out! This is one of my favorite kid party blogs!

Such an adorable idea and so simple...dollar store cookie sheet, plastic eggs, just attach magnets to the eggs!

------------------------Went a little Etsy crazy this week...Looove Etsy.com-----------------

Easter basket idea anyone?

I love any use for mason jars!

I saw this in the Christmas version last year and I looove it! Would make the best gift for a teacher and really anyone who has a desk for work...little ones would love it as a party favor too but I just worry about it being breakable!

These pretty much do all the talking...needless to say I love them!

So cute, adorable, love, love, love!!!

Glitter Bows, Pot of Gold, Vintage Store, Pinch Proof, & Cupcakes!

It was a slow week...came down with the flu and I'm just starting to feel a little better. So not a whole lot to post this week....these were the best that I could find.

Two of my favorite things...Bows & Glitter on a headband!

Sooo cute, yet sooo easy! I love these!

This place might be the coolest place ever...tons of vintage-y letters in all different styles and sizes! You have to click over to this blog and look at all the pictures from this shop, it looks sooo cool!

Not only do I want a silhouette machine but I also would totally wear this shirt! haha I love the St. Patty's Day saying!

It might just be all of the polka dots that attracted me to this picture at first but, how cool are those cupcakes!! I'm all about presentation and this is cupcake presentation at it's best! I love it!

Unique Cupcake Tower, Guest Book, Baseball, Butterflies, Flowers & Frames!

Saw this for the first time a while back and I stumbled upon it again looking for something. This is soooo cool!

This would be such a neat keepsake to have from your wedding and quite useful, just transfer birthdays to a new calendar the next year.

I love anything baseball! This party is so cute and I love the chalk scoreboard!

So cute! Pretty simple, just need a craft punch and it looks like they just stapled them on! I just love the 3-D effect!

This is really unique and super easy...of course it comes from the one and only Martha. Might have to use this for a certain graduation party or 60th bday party this summer!

A little paint, some frames and some candle holders. Really cute for displaying frames and photos.

Riffraff...So Amazing!

Riffraff - Fayetteville, Arkansas
What you'll find there: Home decor, boutique clothing, jewelry, gifts, and so much more!

I LOVE this amazing store! Like I said in my last post when I mentioned it, never have I ever once thought about visiting the state of Arkansas but after discovering this blog I catch myself trying to find some reason to make a trip there. But actually in all honesty I think I would probably go there just for this store! haha It's that awesome! I went back through the blog to find aaaallll of my favorites to share! Some of their products have even inspired some of my own projects...because you know, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!"

I love this dresser!

This would make a simple DIY gift, just need a little puffy paint and some dishes/coffee cup!

Fayetteville is a college town and they are very school spirited and full of tradition! I would love to see a store with product like this open up in Fresno to promote support for Fresno State!
That University of Arkansas subway art inspired my own version that I gave to my cousin Blake for graduation.

This was inspiration for a frame I made for my cousin Mia's 5th birthday!

Some friends & family might recognize these from Christmas! They seemed to be a hit and I loved them so much!

One of the things I absolutely love the most is that they are very vocal and supportive of buying local & supporting the community. They have great community spirit over there and the shopping center this store is in is always doing some sort of event, like an open house type of event that all the stores participate in or halloween trick or treating for the kids in the community! It just seems like a great store and a great atmosphere! I'd love to check it out in person some day!

p.s. I got to go to Hobby Lobby for the very first time! I looove it there!! Michaels, meets Joanns, meets Home Goods...in my opinion it's the best place on earth! I only wish it wasn't 45 mins away in Visalia but oh well I think it's definitely worth it! I'll have to share some of the super fun stuff I bought in my next post!
